A Clean Heart, A Willing Spirit
We’re praying together for a fresh move of God among us, asking for clean hearts as we prepare for Spirit & Truth Weekend (September
25–27).

Psalm 51:10-12 “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your
presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain
me.”
PRAY TOGETHER
Dear God,
Today we want to pray over our spirits and our souls. We pray that You would renew us in Your Spirit, God, and
wash us anew, Lord. We pray that You would transform our hearts and our desires to desire what You have in
store for us. God, we pray that You would create steadfast spirits within us and remove the things that are
holding us back from You. We ask for the strength to let go of our sins and our own desires, Lord, and for the
patience and discipline to stay strong in our walk of repentance. God, we want to desire only You and to put You
first above everything else. We pray that when people look at us, they don’t see us, they see You, Lord.
We want to walk hand in hand with You, so today we give it all to You. We give You our sins, our desires, our
idols, and our attention, Lord. Have all of us. Shape us into the people You’ve called us to be. Thank You for
loving us and choosing us every single day, even though there’s nothing we could ever do to earn it. Thank You
for Your mercy and for never giving up on us. We love You.
