Day 15 — Sunday, August 30
Worship in Spirit and Truth
We’re praying together for a fresh move of God among us, choosing to worship Him as we prepare for Spirit & Truth Weekend (September 25–27).
READ
John 4:23-24 “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in
truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in
truth.”
PRAY TOGETHER
Dear Heavenly Father, we are thankful to have a house of worship to go to on Sundays — a place where we can
worship with other brothers and sisters in Christ. Convict us to know that You are also worthy and desire our
worship outside of church. Help us to worship You with all our everyday thoughts and desires. You have given us
the Holy Spirit to be with us always, to guide and to encourage us. Thank You for Your Spirit, who guides us to
live our lives according to Your will. When we find ourselves confused, scared, or uncertain, remind us of Your
constant love. Reassure us there is no place we cannot find You, no place where You will not seek us, no place
where we cannot worship You.
Heavenly Father, we pray that today and every day You open our hearts and eyes to see You in our lives
everywhere we go, such that it raises up a hallelujah response to You. May our joy overflow to those around us,
so they can see and know You are in our daily lives. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
